Blouse Ornamentation

This post is to share ornamentation ideas on a princess line sari blouse (directed from neckline) with Raglan style.

Hello Tantu Reader!

I shared DIY of my Beaded Yo-yo Patchwork And Ruffled Motif Work in the last post. I have used those trims in my princess line blouse. I usually get lots of ideas with the same materials and get confused which one to choose : D And I select my final design by making/sketching all the sample designs and then removing the least liked designs one by one logically! Finally what remains in my hand becomes my approved design : D This time also it was not different!

Here is the final appearance of my blouse after ornamentation 🙂

Classic Foliage Design

I wanted my design to be unique yet classic so as to match the sari. I like emphasis provided the design is not so loud. This Classic Foliage Design met all my requirements.

You can have a glance of few selected designs that were my favourite. They were not selected because they were less appropriate on my blouse.

Classic design with an emphasising ruffle motif and all over beaded yo-yo patchwork

1. Classic Design

  1. Classic Design:

This design is highly classic with all over pattern at centre back and sleeves. This is suitable for highly traditional look. This design emphasises back, slightly the shoulder and the arms.

    Classic Design with Heavy Sleeves

    2. Classic Design with Heavy Sleeves

  2. Classic Design With Heavy Sleeve:

This is also a classic design with yo-yo designs & ruffle motif forming a single emphasising central back design. Right sleeve is made heavy with beaded yo-yo motifs, since this sleeve is visible when the sari is worn in Normal or Nivi Style. Back emphasis and heavy sleeve are the impacts of this design.

  3. Classic Design with Emphasising Heavy Sleeves:

This design with ruffle motif at right sleeve with beaded yo-yo works making a foliage was my second option for my blouse. This design is classic yet stylish. Back design is less emphasising than the sleeve. I had to avoid any emaphasis on sleeves. So, I couldn’t opt this.

Below are a few central back designs:
